Blog | Kindergarten Graduation
B had a GREAT first year of school – learned a ton, loved her teachers, and made lots of new friends! She never earned less than a 3 on her report cards, and she even got a few 4’s (which is extremely hard to do – it means she was performing at the next grade level in that subject). At the end of the year they had a little celebration where they sang a “graduation song” to the tune of “New York, New York!” – “Start spreading the news. We’re leaving today. We want to be a part of 1st grade, 1st grade!” After getting their diplomas, they all got an ice cream treat and each child showed their family their writing notebooks, which showed how their writing changed over the year.

Graduation was actually the day before the last day of school, so here she is on her last day of kindergarten!
