Uncle Matt & Aunt Carrie came to visit this past weekend. Since it was sooooooo beautiful outside, we decided to find an outdoor activity everyone could enjoy. Putt-putt anyone? Brianna LOVED it…for about the first five holes. After that, she was “all done with this game.” We still managed to do all 18 holes, even if a bit unconventionally.

Oops! Where did that ball go?
Those hazards are rough!

I bet Mommy’s club will work better than that silly orange thing…

That night, Brianna had big fun playing with Aunt Carrie while watching football. The game started so well for the Gators (TD!),
but alas, that was pretty much the last good thing that happened that night. So, Brianna just focused on having big fun playing with Aunt Carrie and her Pooh’s Playhouse characters.
Yeah, yeah – so I am a little behind…This is just a catch-all blog post to share some of our fun activities from October. First, Brianna discovered the joys of suckers. She LOVES suckers – pretty much any sucker (or lolly-pop) will do. I am not a huge fan of how they get in her hair, but it is funny to see her whole mouth turn colors!
We also had a great time at the fair. Brianna was big enough this year to go on several rides. Of course, we started the ride-fest with the merry-go-round.
Then it was off to what Brianna called the “giant playground”
Climbing the ladder
Sliding down the slide
After two trips through the giant playground, she settled for Jalopy Junction after discovering she is not quite big enough yet for the spinning strawberries.
The crazy caterpillar was next – she loved this one, so I am keeping my fingers crossed that she will grow to love other roundy-round rides as well!
We ended the night with another spin on the merry-go-round.
Brianna also went to a local farm for a friend’s birthday party. This was the third birthday party she had been to in October, and she really enjoyed them all. At this one, she even got to pick out a pumpkin (her buddy Jayson is helping her out).
She also got to go on a train ride
and a hay ride
But her favorite part seemed to be playing with the school bus!
Grandma and Grandpa also came to visit, so Brianna showed off her mad playground skills, like balancing on this strange swingy thing
and swinging on the big kid swing!
Grandpa also helped her practice tying shoes with her new shoe lace toys from Great Grandma
And Grandpa painted her toddler bed to get ready for the big switch. Now we just need to find a mattress, and move the bed,…
Brianna had a wonderful Halloween weekend. The festivities started with a fun-filled Halloween day at school, which concluded with Halloween stories and a parade at the end of the day. Grandma and Grandpa were able to come and share in all the fun at school, which Brianna thought was great!

After her nap on the 31st, she started her “real” Halloween festivities with a Frankenstein/Vampire cupcake from Grandma and Grandpa.
Green and black frosting + toddler = no clothes!
After dinner, she got all decked out in her costume and headed out to trick-or-treat.
We were not really sure how she would do, and I really did not think she would say anything to anyone, but she is full of surprises! She said trick-or-treat and thank you at EVERY house, and she said Happy Halloween at about half of the houses. I would say we went to about 20 – 25 houses, so I was impressed.
At one of the first houses we went to:
She had her eye on this blow-up lawn decoration for the whole week leading up to Halloween – it fascinated her.
She was really excited about the pumpkin when we finally arrived back home and she could see it all lit up.
